This site is about the discovery of this small place in the rock high above the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee and has been a place of refuge  for hundreds of years. This Discovery inspired the owners Dave and Peggy  Hincy to develop the area around it building a series of stairs, landings  and decks to get down to it.  Many features have been added to enhance the viewing  pleasure of the Hincy family and friends as well as all the boaters that  come by on the Cumberland River. There is a 25 foot lighted  waterfall, flags and the stairs are lighted from the home  level down to the Hidey Hole and a lighted American Flag out on a  point above the river.
